Welcome to Week 2 of 10k training! Saturday was my rest day and I knew that I should have just done my Sunday workout then and made Sunday my rest day. But I didn't.....10 inches of snow later, Sunday was kind of out. So, I went this morning, 2 miles in 6 degree (-9 real feel) weather. I was pretty bundled up so it wasn't awful. It was kinda funny, the sweat on my headband and condensation from my breath on my mask turned into frost. I started feeling it at 1 1/2 miles to be honest, my legs were BRIGHT red when I got home. Whoops......so much for double layers. Tomorrow should be better, Wednesday cooler. Yikes! So I have a strength training session to add in tonight so I'm caught up. And then I have a feeling I'm going to sleep very very well tonight! Happy Monday, all!
