Getting a late start to the morning, didn't want to get out of bed. It is a rainy yucky day so far. Last night I did better with my snacking. When we went to the store yesterday, I had gotten some tangelos. So, last night when I had the urge to eat something, I ate one of those.
Here comes the bad part. My mom had given me some cookies last night. You know the assorted kind with the sticks and other chocolate covered stuff in them. Well, after eating the tangelo, I waited a few minutes and all I could do was think about how good they tasted last year. Yes, I opened them and I ate one or two of each kind, then I put them away.
Okay, that's all for me so far today, have a wonderful day everyone.

I'm living on tangerines. I eat 2-3/daily. They're my sugar fix.

Weekends can be terrible...I did well this weekend but I know it can be hard.

A few cookies does not ruin your diet, just make sure you post them, BUT REMEMBER- they count for your total calorie intake for the day.
So for example if you want to eat not more than 1200-1400 for the day-You ate 400 calories in cookies for example- that leaves you with 1000-800 calories left for the day-minus any exercise burn

Aherrie: I know what you mean. It's hard to resist the urge for sweets. I had to get my sister to come over to my home and remove a birthday cake so that I would not have it here. If it's in the house (especially if it's something I like), it's more than likely that I will eat it.

Sherrie, that sounds like a similar kind of cookie thing that we got, still have some of them. I've been handling it by taking a small bite of one cookie then immediately throwing the rest of it away while I eat the bite slowly. That way I get the satisfaction of the taste but not too many calories. Sounds wasteful but I figure the rest of the cookie is better off sitting in the trash than ending up around my waist. Don't let it derail you, today's another day! :)
