A friend, who is of an ethnic minority, always says he's a pigment of my imagination. He likes to ask what I'm incinerating too.

Ahhh, please post IC! Just a couple lines. Your posts are always so great. You make a lot of us smile. :) 

I could see how you would miss seeing me. I am a very pale person. I often feel white is the wrong description for me. I prefer Transparent American. Phlebotomists and vampires love me.

That is exactly what I mean. I myself am quite fair. I am going to use that, Transparent American. Also appropriate, being a journalist. Next time someone asks me about my nationality, I'm going to say, I'm Transparent-American, and you should be too. Do you know what your elected officials are up to? 

P.S. I now have a very vivid image of in your metal house with the bats still strung up, flanked by a phlebotomist and a vampire. And all three of you are standing over the crockpot.  

Reminds me of 'stopped in to see what condition your condition is in'... I too belong to the 'we never go out in direct sunlight' group...I like the TA label - would give me some other way to describe my 'color' other than 'catfish belly white'.... 

lol I'm glad I could be of service. I'm starting a whole new race. My politicians are up to no good. I live in Illinois. It's a given. I also believe their salaries are up far higher than they should be. I mean really, they are an elected official in a VOLUNTEER position at MOST they should be making minimum wage. Budget problem solved. I miss my bats. Now that song is stuck in my head Bella lol  

IC, I wasn't asking what your pols are doing. I meant that's what I would say to people with IDing my nationality. "I'm Transparent-American, and you should be too. Do you know what your elected officials are up to?" But yeah, IL. Or at least Chicago. Quite something. 

Oh no I knew it wasn't a question directed at me. I just felt like answering it. Most of the politicians in Illinois forget there is anything but a Chicago.

She looked around the study, and then glanced at a note pinned to the paper in front of her. She appeared to read it, looked puzzled for a moment, and then rolled it up and dropped it into the wastepaper basket. Love it NM. Funny though. My pup is laying half on top of me, she is mostly black and white markings, she is on a mostly black blanket with a few white markings. She blends in, so insistent nudging my hand that she be patted nonstop she certainly doesn't disappear. LOL.  

:) I know what you mean, Whole. Ginger was the same colour of our wood flooring. She'd fade into it and then just about give you a heart attack when she stood up when you did. Miss the old dog. Love the new one. Sometimes I still see Ginger out of the corner of my eye where she used to lie.
