Scale and measurements
Losing weight is a struggle, sometimes you can go with the flow a little, but sometimes you must fight the battles to win the war.

I know you guys think that losing weight should be the result of your effort, not the target itself. And some even dare to claim you should only make changes that you like in order to be able to keep it up. Well lets agree to disagree. In order to lose weight and keep it of you have to fight a constant battle and never give up. You can have a break for a little while but you know and can see that the moment you let go of your defences, the war will be lost.

So there, i'm ready to fight again. But how much ground have i lost in the past month? Was it worth it?

Today: 1.5 hours of upper body training (core, arms, schoulders, mouth)

Nodding... it seems as if it could easily be 'I have made these little lifestyle changes and will never be overweight again' but then whatever drove us to be overweight was more than just the food itself, wasn't it? It was the need to eat more than our bodies can use and that is something so subliminal it does seem to take a vigilance to maintain.

Welcome back and yes, it's a war against our bad habits. The more discipline and willpower you have the easier it is. You just need to find the right motivation Maud.

I agree completely. It's easy to see the battles won to date. It's easy to slack off because of circumstances around us. In the end, it's not about the battle. It's the war. The price of victory is eternal vigilance.
