chadlius88's Journal, 12 June 2014

July 15th will mark one year since the first day that I worked out with my Brother-In-Law.

I still remember that day, I nearly threw up several times, could barely breathe, and was dripping sweat...and that was less than 10 minutes into my first workout. I remember walking up the stairs looking down, unable to see my feet.

The people who follow my progress know that a lot has changed since then. Not once has it ever been easier than that first day, I just got stronger, faster, and smarter.

I make that same walk all the time now....dripping sweat, barely able to breathe...only now when I look down, nothing blocks the view of my feet, and I'm carrying a 45 lb. plate in each hand.

Never give up....Never give in....and even if you aren't where you want to be yet, you're carrying heavy weight, and you find yourself unable to carry it...Keep on walking.

It never gets easier; You just get stronger.

That's odd. I was standing in my bathroom on the scale, I think it was yesterday, thinking about how it was cool to look down and see my feet without having to bend over. Almost puked though.... Hmmm. I'm a minimalist. :) Well done, buddy.

HAHA NM, My B-I-L Was barking commands at me and I just did what he told me, he is far from a minimalist when it comes to training, hes the kind of guy that, if you arent dripping wet and panting when hes done with you, he just makes you do more.

ROCKER you naughty girl. It was a comment on Chad almost puking, not me from what I saw while standing on the scale! ROFL

I'm not even going to comment on what 'minimalist' may have implied.
