It's been 5 days since my gallbladder was removed. I'm still very sore. I'm trying to not take the pain meds I was prescribed. Today was the first day I set limits for sodium, cholesterol and saturated fats, as well as the main protein, carbs and fat. I'm pre-diabetic and have had high blood readings, but I'm not on meds for any of that yet. And I'd like to keep it that way. I've tried changing my habits so many times, but now I'm scared for my health, not just my weight. I hope to do more than just walk to the mailbox soon. But even that little walk feels good, even though I'm still so sore.
