The scale is looking good, even with a couple of recent minor slips I had recently. I am realizing that excessively stressful situations drive me to grab what ever food is near me and insert in mouth (can you see me next to donuts and pasteries!). I have got to figure a way to identify these stressfull situations a little earlier so I can attempt to try to control at least the quality of food I am eating when stressed.

I started having my son log his food, as yet another attempt to get him to be healthier. He is a young, he is tall and he is wide. He weighs 2x the weight of other large boys in his age group. He is addicted to food (just as I and many people are). Well, I have some very exciting news, he dropped 5 pounds the 1st week of logginging his food. Logging his food made him see that it was "his" direct choices that made the difference. It also showed him that it was "his" old habits that caused him to be large for his age. He is active, but being addicted to junk food keept his weight up. Now that "he gets it" for the first time I feel that he has a fighting chance. I am so proud of him.

I have been slacking on my "dedicated" exercise for about 2.5 weeks. I have only got exercise through finding opportunities to move more. The lack of exercise is directly related to: my schedule getting busier, having a cold, and a knee that is filled with water. I like to make sure that I get in my dedicated exercise most days. I am devising a plan to get my schedule under control, kick this cold, and get my knee back to normal so I can get back to my exercise. I have exercise plans with some friends and family on Thursday and Friday, so hopefully that will get me back on track.
