What kind of containers are those black ones and are they reusable?

SoHangry, they are reusable! I found them on Amazon and I've seen them recently at supermarkets (Amazon is cheaper)
You can buy them by the set. There are rectangle, round, rectangle w/2 compartments, 3 compartments. They all come with lids!

Are the containers plastic?

You don;t find that your pre-cooked meats get dried out when you reheat them?

So much plastic. Snap-Lock and Glass -Lock are good oven-safe alternatives.

@victoriawaker - no. actually, these meals are for me and my husband both for 3-4 meals per day. These will pretty much be gone by Tuesday evening.
@00Markx00 I love glass containers also but not for packing in a bag to go to work. Hubby and I work together so I'm bringing 4 or so of these containers with us everyday. I haven't found glass containers with compartments either.

I love my meal prep containers...also not glass...I never need to put them in the oven and they're microwave and dishwasher safe. I love meal prep as well! <3

I use glass containers, but I don't prep as far ahead as you seem to do.

I bought a set of those from Amazon too but I'm in the glass group. I even put my veggies in glass after washing (instead of leaving spinach in the plastic store box). I have the meal preps for when I want to send leftovers home with others - got tired of not getting my glass containers back.

I love using glass containers but use plastic for work. Our lunch boxes are crammed into to little frig space for our floor and sometimes get dropped by people moving them around. Not nice to find your lunch in smithereens and shreds of glass..

You are much more organized than I am.

@wholefoodnut ...exactly. Glass containers are heavy and I'd be too afraid of breaking them in transport so I don't use them for "meals" I use my glass for larger amounts of protein and veggie storage.
