Light grainless waffles made with ground almonds, bananas, spices and honey.
Ingredients
Directions
- Mix yolk, mashed banana, milk, honey and oil.
- Sift in almond meal, baking powder and salt.
- Stir in spices.
- Beat whites until stiff, hard peaks form.
- Carefully fold in egg whites, mix to fully combine.
- Fold in sliced fruit if desired.
- Bake in a waffle iron. These waffles tend to be wet so bake them at a lower temperature for a longer amount of time.
- Note: while most grainless waffles are heavy this special technique makes these waffles light!

Pretty good. Waffles turn out very soft. Need to spray the waffle iron after every waffle.
