the last twenty
Hi all,

I started an official group for ladies who expressed interest in supporting each other in our "Last 20" efforts. The group is here:

Gym Apps
I use an app on my ipod called Gain Fitness but it only keeps track of weight workouts and they currently only have it for iphone and ipod. You plug in how long you want to work out, which muscle groups you want to focus on, all of your stats (gender, weight, height, age etc.), and you can plug in the amount of weight you are doing as you go. It keeps track of it on their web site too. I love it!

To post or not to post
Lately I've been really proud of how often I'm making it to the gym before work. It's difficult to get up and get on a bus by 6 a.m., but I'm always reminded of how awesome it is when I have an energetic workout and then after work I just get to go home without guilt!

On the bus ride there I will often post something on my facebook about the fact that I'm on my way to the gym so early. Something like "Morning workout party time!" or "If it weren't for Led Zeppelin, I would not be on the bus to the gym right now. Fact."

I think it's funny and I also like to look back at my status updates and be proud of how often I made it to the gym. But then I saw a post from a friend that said "Hey facebook friends, your check-ins at the gym are making the rest of us feel lazy! Cut it out!" I started to wonder if maybe my posts about the gym and working out are annoying/bothering people.

What's your experience with posting about your weight loss or about workouts on social networking sites outside of Fatsecret? Do your friends do it and does it annoy you? Should I think about maybe stopping all my gym party time posts or should I just continue to be proud and throw it out there?

I am sooo hungry right now
Listen to your body. If you're hungry, eat. Depriving yourself is only going to make you want to binge later. Have something with a lot of protein like some yogurt or something with a lot of fiber like a piece of fruit. Hang in there!

leg cramps
Whenever I've had Charlie Horses it's always been because I was dehydrated. Drink lots and lots of water. Lack of potassium could also be a factor. Bananas and a good multivitamin could help!
