We eat out way too much, but it's becoming an interesting challenge to find good choices that I like. At lunch with a group of friends on Friday, I had blackened salmon, cucumber salad (just cucumber slices with vinegar), and sauteed string beans. It was so attractive when they brought it out everyone at the table was jealous, and it was delicious as well. Even adding in a couple tablespoons of oil for the prep, it was only 2 points to track for my WW. Marked that as a favorite, and I'll be back Duffy's!

Just can't seem to get my act together and really commit to weight loss. I know what to do and how to do it, just don't! Getting very little exercise since I retired (not much before, but at least I had stairs to walk up and down).
But it's a new day, and I've got my Fitbit on and I am going to get some more steps in. I could do that with some simple housekeeping and decluttering and have more than a better number at the end of the day.
Today is $5 salad bar day at Ruby Tuesday's so there is my lunch plan. Tomorrow is weigh-in day at WW, so I've got another incentive to make good choices today.

Encouraged by my sister getting back on FS, I'm going to try again too. I am in Weight Watchers, liking the new program FreeStyle, and making some slow progress. Same goal - would like to see 150 eventually, but really looking forward to just getting past that elusive 200 mark. Trying to work in more fruit snacks and ignore the sugar cookies. With WW you can eat anything just have to keep it in reason as far as proportion and account for it in the allowed points. So one cookie is okay, a whole box is not!
Now to work in some exercise as well. That seems to be the hardest part, since I am inherently lazy.

Haven't been on for a while, but I have been going to WW meetings. Not really following the program though. Just can't seem to get my act together. At least I've managed to bounce around within the same 5 pounds and not head too far in the wrong direction. Just need to get some healthy snacks to keep in the house and focus on going in the right direction.
