This was a pleasant surprise. As usual, I can't understand what caused this drop.

Starting to get the hang of cooking for LCHF. Winning, although very slowly, with the LBs. War with BG numbers, so far, is a bit more encouraging. Planning a conference with my diabetes coach in 2 weeks. Hope is to drop some diabetes meds at that time if progress continues at present rate. That's incentive to keep improving minimization of carbs.

Much more of the same.
I do seem to be making progress on my BG readings. Avg is down to low 150s from high 190s before starting LCHF.
BP has also shown improvement but no certainty it is food intake related.
No progress on LBs. Still stuck in the 198-200 band.
Just hanging in there and trying to get carbs down to something like 30g range. That seems to be a real tough one for me. Maybe this isn't my 'ultimate' WOE. Any suggestions? Lower BG is still my primary goal.

Made slight changes to yesterday's journal after going back over my numbers on my spreadsheet log. It wasn't as bad as I had thought, but still a wakeup call.
I'm not getting close enough to 'minimum' CARBS and my portions are, very often, too large to expect quick weight loss. That's even on 'legal' 'feeling' foods.
Need to actually weigh/measure the food. Plan the portions as well as the food content before eating.
Stay away from those coffee lighteners at the convenience store coffee bar (12g, or more, carbs).
Get serious and get to goals!
Having 2nd thoughts about LCHF being. the right WOE for my age. Reading some opinions that LCHF can accelerate ageing. Don't need that. TMI?

Momentary setback. Thought I'd done so well yesterday and then this morning I metered a huge spike in my BG (195). I'd been under 150 for a couple of weeks. Don't know where this came from! Before I panic, have to wait and see what the next couple of days bring.
