So I have been on the “fluffier” side my whole life. A couple of years ago I went on no carbs and worked out everyday, I was also GM of a fast causal restaurant. I lost about 50 lbs; however, I slowly gained it all back. I have always been pretty active; however, I have not had to work for the last year. This has had a very negative effect on my weight, as I sit in my recliner and binge watch Netflix ALL day! After finishing off about 8 boxes of Girl Scout cookies and weighing in at a toppling 223, I SAID ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Having a medical background I know that no carbs works; however, eating all that fat I feel has adverse effects on your health if you do it long term. I decided to go low fat which I started last week and I had lost 7lbs but I found it very good restrictive then I looked at how many carbs are in low fat foods, then I overwhelmed!! I started researching all the new diets, health issues associated with them, results from them and got EXTREMELY OVERWHELMED!!! I’ve decided that if doctors put people on calorie restricted diets for weight loss, I’m sticking with the drs. So here I am, I am working a 1,500 calorie diet and am looking at joining a gym. Also with warmer whether coming (fingers crossed) I can get outside and more active. I would like to get down to 150, maybe a little more after that but I want to make attainable goals. HERE WE GO!!
