Deficit for last week was ~3900.

Not bad, I knew I’d probably gained a bit. I feel great and like the way my body looks, so that’s more important than any number anyway.
Weigh-in:
124.0 lb
lost so far:
22.0 lb
still to go:
4.0 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

I’m really wanting a snack but I’ve had enough calories already today. I’m posting about it to keep myself accountable. I don’t need the snack, it’s not hunger, it’s just a silly craving and I’ll be fine.
Whatever the scale says tomorrow, I’ll record it. I should be past any TOTM bloating so it should be fairly accurate. I know it’ll still be a gain from my last recorded weight, but not by very much. And I still feel good and like the way my body looks, which is more important than that number.

I have a No Scale Victory I’d like to share. Even if nobody reads it, I want it recorded in my journal.
I slept 2 hours last night and felt awful all day. I decided I wouldn’t exercise and would just keep my calories low to stay in a deficit. I ate 1400 calories, but got home tonight still feeling hungry.
I ate some baked Cheetos. I ate a few pieces of honeydew. And I ate a bowl of Special K Protein cereal with almond milk. I was feeling bad about myself because I knew I’d gone over my calorie goal. Then I input my food in FS and realized I’d only eaten 1800 calories: maintenance for the day, OR my goal on days when I exercise and burn more calories.
I also realized I felt energized from the food I’d eaten! I changed into some workout clothes and did some aerobic exercise for about an hour, burning ~500 calories.
Obviously this was not an ideal day. The point is, I still made it work despite everything.

Last week was a struggle with overeating! Most days I ate right at maintenance even though my goal was a 500-calorie daily deficit. I managed a small deficit for the week regardless. I’m refocusing this week and committing to that daily deficit.
