So I started my weight loss journey back in October 2019 weighing in at my heaviest in my life at 280 and I had seen a picture of myself while I was on a family vacation that just utterly shocked myself! The picture was from March of 2019 and I couldn’t believe I had gotten to the weight I was! So finally in October I said no more! I decided to do something about it! I started with a different app and cut my calories and watch my carbs and upped my protein intake and started to l get more exercise than I ever had before and the weight actually started coming off pretty fast! Before I knew it I was down almost 50 pounds! But then I hit a plateau! And of course then this pandemic hit us and yes I was still working 7 days a week but I wasn’t going to the gym so the exercise part really declined and I fell behind on the tracking what I’m eating.
So I am now recovering from neck surgery and and back on track with my weight loss.. my cousin showed me this app and I like it much better than the other one I was using, the pictures, recipes and support are amazing! I wish I could figure out how to follow people however!!
Right now I am starting at where I left off 55 pounds less than where I began in October but still 50 pounds more to go at least! I am looking forward to the support this group seems to offer and the friendships it seems to build so o want to say hello and thank you for welcoming me and good luck to us all on our journey
