day by day ..very encouraged- my wife has joined FS wants to lose weight and say goodbye to insulin trying to cook good veggie dishes that she will eat..not easy to do she basically doesn't like food! made a pot of "many bean" chili with tvp and she liked it...so far so good

well the earthquake brought winter back...lol...about 4" of new snow and temps down to -10F...it's been a mild winter with less than normal snowfall so far but looks like I better get the Ranger out and plow...that will be good exercise..I was hoping to get a trip to Anchorage this week ..the Sears store is closing and they are selling out...can't resist a bargain so hope the pass is open

Had a pretty good shaking this morning. Woke up about 12:45 to find everything rocking and rolling. A 8.2 earthquake near Kodiak Island ( which is about 100 miles from Nikiski) . Seemed to last quite a long time...nothing fell over so not that bad. Tsunami warnings out for the coast (I'm about 3 miles inland so not worried here) It was the biggest we've had that close for awhile. I'm blaming the almost 1/2 lb. I went up this morning on the quake...lol

AN encouraging weigh in this morning down 2 to 284...looks good if I can continue I will make my goal before my trip in April to Las Vegas..oh I hope I didn't wake Murphy up by saying that..
