Hey everyone, like most people I have been battling my weight since i've had children! Stress is a huge downfall for me, i tend to eat when i'm stressed or tired or bored... I have four kids, and I Love them to death. My oldest is just about 20, who's a boy, the next one is a girl she's 17, then i have my other boy, he's soon to be 14 and my baby is a girl and she's 12 :)
I used to work for a weighloss center and i coached people on how to lose their weight and to stay on target. I loved it! Not only did i help others reach their goals i also reached my goals. However, with having to be homeless last year for a few months and moving to a new town, i let myself go, didn't make me a priority! Now its time to get back on track and fit my old clothes again. One thing i've learned, this is a life long commitment, and sometimes just like addicts to alcohol or drugs, we stumble, but its never too late to get back on track and try again. Good luck to all! And if I can help any of you, I would love the chance to try :) just message me

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I will weigh myself everyday Smile in the morning, this tends to be our 'true' weight Smile I found that if I don't weight myself I tend to be less accountable. Also, if one does have a bad day, its always interesting to see how and when the scale is affected. For instance, chinese food, because of the sodium levels will be immediate due to the water retention that occurs. Often times, our 'bad day' won't actually show up on the scale for a couple days.

How often should I weigh myself?
when i was a weightloss coach, we weighed our clients every day for the first two weeks. Then 3 times a week. This helps you stay focused and also it helps one see the affects of certain types of food. If you see a visual to what the food your eating is doing, your more likely to stay on target. It does depend on the diet your on though. The more natural foods you choose and prepare the better for you. Try to stay away from processed food. They are loaded with chemicals and sodium, not good for weightloss. Measuring and weighing your food is very effective, when eye balling the measurements, we naturally add more and then a little bit more...and so on. Another thing you should do, only weigh yourself in the morning when you first wake up, thats your true weight, you body's weight will fluctuate through out the day, sometimes even up to 5 pounds. If you can't weigh yourself first thing in the morning, then do it about the same time in the day, every time. Don't be afraid of the scale, its your friend, it will help you stay focused, also, be sure to measure you inches, inch loss is also a big motivater Smile
