Just ground up a lot of flaxseed in my new Krups coffee/nut/spice grinder. Within a month or so this amazing gizmo will have paid for itself!
How did I ever manage without wonderful flaxmeal? Or the Miraculous MIM? Just delicious, filling and full of healthy Omega 3. And fibre.
I salute the inventer of the MIM, whoever and wherever you are. Thank you SO much! Your creation has made my Atkins so much more nutrious and FUN xx

Right!
Phase 3 of Atkins is way slower - it is intended to be - but I hope to lose that one size, to be (really) comfortably into narrow size 12 jeans, by Easter. I bought several pairs of jeans on eBay this afternoon, as extra incentive.
I will watch my carbs carefully, exercise more and drink even more water than I do already (3 litres on an average day).

In Phase 3, Pre-Maintenance now, so weight loss is much slower. This is tough but necessary for long term maintenance. Takes nerve! We all want fast losses but we have to accept that these are not always healthy or even desirable, since eating habits might not have changed for the better in a permanent way.
I love Atkins, I love the low carb lifestyle, and even being vegetarian does not get in the way of eating well and healthily on this plan.
I need to step up my veggie and berry intake again mind you, as I have let the reintroduction of allowed fruits slip a bit.
Blueberries and cream for me, tonight!
