I am a 23year old female who has just ended a four relationship with a man. Over the years we were together I gained about 30 pounds and since the break up I have managed to put on another 15 pounds. I am in my best friends wedding on June 16, 2007 and I dont want to be the chunky girl in the wedding party! I have realized also I want to take better care of myself and know that I deserve it. So here I am trying the South Beach Diet to see what I can do!
::::Wow, now here I am 3 years later at 26, I am in a new relationship and managed to keep the weight off unlike my current man tho who has seemed to put on a lot of weight in the past year and a half of dating. I am looking to lose some more wight so that I am finally in a place where I want to be happy with my body instead of hiding it. Also, I am hoping that by me having motivation and goals he will do the same, I am already planning my work out regimen and planning out all my meals ahead of time, I just hope he sees this and take the initiative to do it with me... I can only make the suggestion so many times to him tho. Anyway this whole diet and workout plan is for me tho and for myself. I want to feel good and look good. I want to leave the house every day proud of who I am and I am hoping that by dropping that nagging 10 pounds and toning up a little I am able to get to that happy place...
