Husband, father of 5. Back in April, we added chickens to our family, and enjoy having fresh eggs every day. A family member told me about the Margaret Thatcher diet or "egg diet." I cut out sugar and had 2 or 3 eggs for every meal, and found weight loss and also loss of appetite between meals. I researched it further and settled on a KETO diet. Low carb/low sugar/fats and proteins is my WOE nowadays. At first I had trouble with recording foods I ate. Recording what I ate seemed to make me want to eat more. After losing 30 pounds in 2 months, I gradually starting recording until recording what I eat is second nature. Recording what I ate also helped me with snacking and late night eating. I have made adjustments over time, realizing that This journey is not a sprint but a marathon. As of Apr 2019 I've added 16/8 intermittent fasting.
I am the lowest I have been since I was married, and still ready to lose more. I can't wait to be less of a man than I have ever been! :-)
