I have started with over 1000kcal (basic calculations) of deficit (5th day today) and my weight loss is not remarkable...lol...This is the first time I started this low in calories - around 1300Kcal.
I was expecting some kind of feedback my body will give me after the 5th day, like "I am starving, I am dying, give me more food!".
Not really. Slight increase in the muscle % (0.7) and the drop in fat (0.7). Need to watch that, because muscle loss is the main enemy for older females.
I guess the 1300Kcal metabolism rate my "smart scales" gave me is about right. My body does not need more than that.
Every day I walk 6 miles for an hour on a trail (nordic walking - not very fast, so I set it as hiking in the calculator) to make sure I approach the weight loss task from both directions.
Just need to be patient. Weight control is not a goal, it is a lifestyle.

Beautiful, low-calorie chicken curry... in the process...
Simmer some more to allow the flavors to blend. Next - braised napa cabbage and shrimp!

It seems I added some weight, but the dynamics are positive. I woke up all waterlogged, face and all, so the body weight increased.
The vitals are as follow:
Fat - 35% (0.4% decrease)
BMI - 24.6 (0.4 decrease)
Water - 47.4% (0.2% increase)
Walked 3.4 miles this morning and feel much better, the swelling on the face and under the eyes is gone!

Added some weight. 69.80kg, almost 154lbs.
My smart scales show the following:
BMI - 24.9
Fat - 35.4% (used to have 24%, so this is the goal)
Muscle - 41.7kg
Water - 47/2% (low, have to drink more)
Visceral Fat - 7.5
Bone Mass - 3.76 (hmm, too high, the old scales read around 2.1)
Metabolism - 1314.1 (this is important, have to watch now not to consume too much)
Protein - 12.1% (low)
Obesity - 19.6% (exactly how I feel, a bit overweight, but enjoying my life..lol)
Started back my daily walks today and promised myself not to stuff my face in the evening!! Ans stop reading "Dish" magazine!!!
It is pizza night tonight though...1 slice and a glass of sangria will probably cover 2/3 of that daily calorie intake!
