I'm Walls and I'm 34. I've gained a wonderful man who loves to cook and so put on two stone in the last year. I've already lost a stone on the Atkins and want to keep up the motivation to get rid of the last one. Nearly there!

NO RESULTS
Both of the above commentators make good points. You do allow carbs, and that will prevent progress. However, you eat very little, and that will also put your body into starvation mode. Rethink your foods a little, I would say.

cheat day
It depends. I sometimes fear that if I break the diet AT ALL, then it is all over and I should give up. So if I find myself absolutely torturing myself with want for something*, then I call it an occasional treat and tell myself not to worry. That way I loosen the belt a little and then get back on track.
*Like potatoe chips (crips). Love 'em.

Determined to get through the holiday eat-a-thons
Actually, Slease, that is very good advice. If I stick to good food, properly made, the chances of my binging on sweets, chocolate etc, are reduced drastically. And I'm not missing out, I'm just being choosy.
Well done.

WALKING ALTERNATIVES
I've recently moved apartment and now live approximately 8km from work. And I walked to work this morning, and very much hope to do it again tonight.

Christmas dinners out
I have a lot of Christmas dinners coming up with work colleagues and my partner's work colleagues. I'm worried that I will be tempted!
