176.6 @ 0630 AM. 1100 calorie deficit yesterday
Took my 8 year old granddaughter for a 4 mile bike ride on a hard packed dirt walking/bike path yesterday. She did great and had alot of fun! Three hour ride planned today for me and a birthday celebration for my daughter in law tonight. I'll be grilling some rib eyes!
A 1.5 lb loss for the week.

177.1 @ 0830 AM.
No real surprise on the scale this morning. Took a day off from exercising because of the unusual heart rate recovery from the day before, had more to eat, and had some (okay more than some) light beers. All of that equals a weight gain.

175.1 @ 0700 AM.
Three days in a row of the back cooperating and got in a 1h20m bike ride with a few good high intensity intervals. Stopped riding sooner than I planned because my heart rate wasn't dropping when I stopped at stop lights or after a big effort. It will always drop about 20 to 25 beats in a minute depending on how long I've been riding. It was only dropping about 5 beats in a minute. A little scary! I don't know if the big calorie deficit the previous two days may have had anything to do with this. So, had a bigger dinner than I planned, taking a day off the bike today, and probably will have 2000 calories today.
