Hello, I’m a 51 year old, married, mother of two. I can no longer work due to RSDS (See: RSDS.org).

I enjoy my family, our Rottweiler, our Siberian cat and taking Computer Science/Programming classes online. Due to my RSDS, I am pretty much confined to my bed.

removing resting on exercise...
Actually, it’s helping your numbers you ge credit for calories burned while not doing anything else (resting). It does this because we burn calories even when we just sit for a time.

The resting calories are adjusted as you enter othe exercises. Make sense?

How to use FatSecret
Go to the FatSecret page then select the dinner plate. You reord your food eaten each day on the same page.

Hope that helped?

I need a new scale... please recommend one
My scale continues to be unable to hold still long enough for me to get an accurate reading. (Sigh) However, I can get a general idea of my weight but it’s frustrating.

Anyone have a good scale you can recommend? It needs to be accurate up to at least 350# but 400# would be better. I prefer one with out batteries.

I have also decided to look into the Keto diet. It looks like a lot of people do well with it.
