Today I had a McDonald's Egg, Cheese and Bacon Croissant with a Starbuck Pumpkin Latte. Not healthy, I know, but my friends street was hit by a tornado last night so I promised her Starbuck and her 4 year old McDonald's pancakes when we were on our way this morning to help with disaster clean-up and support. Every house on the street was damaged and it looked like a war zone. She'll be without power for a bit. Had to grab what food I could, but I haven't had any appetite since munching on half the croissant in the morning, and the other half on the way home at 3:30. Did crash for a nap for several hours though, still no appetite at all tonight. There was that gas station coke on the way back. Yard work and more exercise than normal helping around her house and her parents, sugar drink instead of water probably wasn't the right idea, but today was definitely an unusual day. The tornado touched down by the airport, then came on the highway and flipped a truck, then the elementary school, then her street. Nasty thing but thankfully no life casualties.
