I am a 45yo mother of 2 adult boys. Married for the 2nd time in July 2015.
After having a hysterectomy in Dec 2014 I gained more weight than I would have liked and was determined to lose it fast.
I broke my ankle in Feb 2016 and everything stopped. The weight piled back on and I was not able to do any exercise for almost 18mths without my ankle swelling like a balloon and suffering intense pain.
I decided to join curves on a trial offer for 6 weeks in June 2017, just to see if I would be able to manage it. By this time i was well over 100kgs and at my heaviest weight ever.
It worked wonders, I am now able to walk and exercise with no swelling and minimal pain. Unfortunately I was made redundant in November, so my membership is on hold.

Sooooo....i decided to start walking everyday and found this site, which is keeping me motivated to exercise and hold myself accountable.

Hopefully this part of my weight loss journey will be the best part yet!
