Going to weigh in tomorrow morning ... hoping to see some change but also trying to remind myself that it's ok if I'm not. Regardless of what the scale says, I see the difference in the way my clothes feel and how much stronger I'm getting in the gym. Not only am I able to increase the weights I'm using, I'm also noticing how much stronger I am during cardio. I'm able to run longer at faster speeds. It feels good. :) But still, I'm desperate to see that scale tip down. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be the day.

What a frustrating morning! I put in so much hard work this week only to ... stay EXACTLY the same? UGH!
Of course, I didn't make matters any better by having a bagel after getting the news. That carb loaded thing ran my blood sugar high and I had a serious crash this afternoon (which of course made me run to Starbucks for a coffee.) At least I can pay myself on the back for sticking to a tall, skim, no frills latte.
Oh well, back to the gym tomorrow morning and let's just hope that I see some changes next week. :(

About a week of being seriously focused on my diet and exercise. It's so helpful to have my boyfriend be equally as focused! We're really helping one another along, pushing one another at the gym and watching what we eat together.
Still, I'm nervous to weigh in tomorrow and see what things look like. I just have to remind myself that this is only the beginning. Still, hopefully a good run at the gym this afternoon will help! :)

Day Two of Mike Geary's Truth about six pack abs workout and I'm dying. It feels good, I know I'll get stronger again but it sucks. We're going to take pictures tomorrow which will be helpful for me to see the changes in myself from month to month.
I've been eating 1200 calories a day based on the Web MD recommendation. Looks like I need to up that a little bit.
