Goal Weight

I am a late 30's married mom of 3 daughters. They are at that age where they are seriously driving me crazy.....and driving me to eat from all the stress!! But I love them and know I need to find an outlet that helps me through their rough teen years ahead.
I am at my peak weight of 163. I hate the way I feel and look. I have never allowed myself to get above 150. The weight I feel best at is 135. I am going to reach that goal by June for our beach vacation.

I felt it was time to update this. I almost met my goal by June of 2010. I got down to 139. I felt great and looked great for that trip.

Now it is 5 months later.....Back up to 145. 10 lbs above that original goal. I'm glad I haven't let it creep back up like I did in the past. I am still working out, lifting weights, etc. I just stopped tracking my food. I fell off the wagon; so to speak. I started drinking Dr. Pepper and sweet tea!! soo bad. But I'm going to set a new goal because that is how I do best. Once my beach trip was over I just had no motivation to keep it up. That's what works/will work for me.

Not crazy that wii weighs me EVERY DAY.
My problem is that now that I'm in a normal BMI weight range, it still has me as being chubby. Shouldn't it slim me down more?

Points - Gone!
You should look at some of the topics from yesterday. There are pages and pages on it. Some people have some ways to track/calculate so you'll just have to read thru all of it. Watch out for some nasty negativity on there though. Razz Have a good day and good luck.

Stretch Mark Baby Bellies
Katpec,
You are JUST the person I need to talk to. I have decided that if I can get down to 135 and stay there for 1 year straight that I would get a tummy tuck. I have 3 beautiful daughters that all weighed over 9 lbs. I started out as a 125 lb. 20 year old. Now I am 35 and my peak weight was 163. Not bad, but it just explains how STRETCHED my tummy got. I have more stretch marks than any one I have EVER compared myself to. They are even on my thighs.
But my question is: how painful is a tummy tuck. I can only compare to Kate Gosslin's experience and a friend of a friend that had quints and had the tummy tuck when they were toddlers. I've heard recovery is AWFUL and the friend said she couldn't even stand up straight for several weeks. I just don't know if it is worth it, cuz I hate pain. Smile
