Over the hump
02 March 2014
Beginning month three today...wow, I just can't believe that I'm over half way there. All my 'skinny' clothes are fitting again, though a little tight but fitting all the same. 45 minute hard workouts are easy now, compared with a 20 minute lung-puking slog back in early January. No more waking up with a sore back every morning, can't remember when that stopped. Everyone here has shown me I have lots of company in this. Thanks for that !! Special thanks to the FatSecret website team for keeping this together, and helping us all be here, just couldn't do it without you. Huge kudos there.

Organic Vs. Non-Organic
GM plants, such as soybean, corn, cottonseed, and canola, have had foreign genes forced into their DNA. The inserted genes come from species, such as bacteria and viruses, which have never been in the human food supply.
The human species has evolved over millions of years to process what has evolved beside us. GMO food has never been tested with the rigor that should be required and is now being found to be the cause of many health issues.
I find your comment not all that helpful.
The following foods are likely GMO. I think people need information so they can decide for themselves.
Soy, corn, canola, cotton, and sugar beets.
I personally try not to touch the stuff and would suggest that anyone who cares deeply about their health consider doing the same.
