I'm tired! Tired of the fads, quick fixes, losing, gaining, trying, failing, etc. I want off this rollercoaster! Decided to throw the past to the curb. Working with my NP and it's all about the calorie. Started mid Feb, sticking well to 1500 daily but weight not budging. I'm not ready to give up but any words of encouragement or ideas are always welcome.

Induction Contradictions
Let me start by saying how much I appreciate all the support and ideas I have received. With that said, I am left feeling more confused than ever. There are too many contradictions regarding induction, I don't know what to do. The book says limit artifical sweeteners, I have heard, stay away. Use the Atkins products suitable for phase 1, stay away from the products. Drink coffee and caffine, stay away from coffee and caffine, eat more calories, restrict your calories, cut back on fats, don't be afraid of fat, stay away from cheese, eat 3 - 4 oz. a day, limit your flaxseed, eat MIM's, and the list goes on. The only consitant thing i have heard, is drink more water. So other than eating an egg for breakfast, a large salad with RANCH dressing for lunch, and fish or chicken for supper with a few veggies, what other options do I have?

Atkin's therapy needed!
To give up or not to give up. That is the question. I am not ready to give up, but the scale just has not moved in the last 3 weeks of a month on induction. I thought i was following it to the letter, but only lost 10 the first week. I know, 10 is great but when you are looking at 135 to go, not so great. I received advice to eat more, but I am clueless how to increase my calories without increasing fat or carbs. Please help! I need some Atkins therary!!!
