Oh, worst part of today - after dropping 10 pounds in the last couple of weeks - someone rubbed my stomach and asked me if I put on weight... I want to punch him in the head.

Well, I don't know how I did calorie wise, or carb wise as far as how many, but I did stay low carb at today's graduation party. I had someone trying to tell me that fruit was OK while on low carb... in fact they brought me a dish of assorted fruit, which I did not eat..... I think they were offended, but oh well....

Hoping for a day where I don't feel food challenged. Headed to a graduation party, and just hope there are hamburgers and hot dos - stuff I can eat w/o carbs. They probably will have it as it is in a back yard with about 75 people attending.
Finally dropped some weight..... finally.

4 days ago, I wrote in my journal that I gained 6 pounds over a week where I was eating in restaurants all day and every day. I was taking my kids to visit colleges far from home.... I "knew" I did not overeat, though I did eat foods that my diet does not allow. I tried to eat less food to compensate for eating the wrong foods.
Today, I woke up and weighed myself - as I do almost every day.... and 5 of those 6 pounds disappeared overnight.... my feet had become really swollen over that week, and still were yesterday... Today, all good. Still need to drop another pound to get back to where I was 14 days ago, but I can deal with it.
As a positive - an NSV if you will - I had a pint of Halo Top last night while I was on the computer, and instead of eating half or all of it, I was just fine in putting it back in the freezer after about 3 TBS. Maybe this keto thing where you supposedly lose your taste for sweets is actually working, finally.
