Hiking update 🙂 life update rambles below.


My husband and I are halfway moved in and I'm about to start orientation for clerkship rotations. The good part about living with family is fewer costs and that they buy a ton of groceries to share, the bad part is there's barely room for my "own" food! I'm adding veggies and fruit to the shopping list every time because otherwise my diet would become junk food and frozen fried stuff 😬 idk how they don't feel like crap all the time! Don't get me wrong, I love a good calorie dense snack, but I'm talking the pantry and counters are FULL of peanut butter crackers, cookies, chips, and candy. I had to make room for my usual small indulgences of biscotti and gourmet hard candy...I'm trying to stick to that on occasion while ignoring the piles of snacks everywhere else. Sticking to logging at the beginning of the day to help curb impulse snacking. There's a reason I usually would have my snacks put away and not on display wherever I go 😅
