So I lost 19lbs in 3 weeks. One more lb to lose by Friday, this was not easy and of course not healthy. I was under supervision of my doctor. I did this so I could have my surgery. I am proud of myself for doing it. I am having a treat on Friday after I weigh in and then possibly even losing a bit more before my surgery on Tues. my jeans are def. lose and I feel thinner. Tired, and not a whole lot of energy by am managing to walk 3 mi. 3-4 times a week. Now to just get through my surgery doing a bit of cleaning on th weekend, celebrating my birthday early because I will still be in recovery mode for my actual b-day and just going to get myself re-paced and try to de-stress for tues. thank u guys for the support looking forward to the end of April when I can start getting me back again and continuing on my weightless journey.

VERY bloated today. Being reminded why I am having this surgery. At work having a hard time concentrating and just trying to breath through the pain. Tired, feel queasy, and just hurt.
Just have to make it to 4:30.
Crossing my fingers that this is over in a few days, I cannot let water weight get the best of me! NOT COOL.
I did go down .8 of a lb. More to go. Will not weigh in tomorrow unless the bloating is down.
Having a sushi pack from the grocery store tonight, craving it (better than craving nachos, or poutine) so I am going after work to get a pack. Going to get rid of half the rice in it, and that will help with the carbs. Calorie wise its really not that bad.
Don't know if I have it in me to work out tonight. Just hurt too much, I know exercise helps with cramps, but there is a point where it just hurts too much for me.
Picking up my own groceries tonight to get me through the week. I can do this. Only 9.2 more lbs to go. By Friday at 10 a.m I CAN DO IT.

So total loss of lbs. 14.5 lbs. Almost 8 of which were lost in the 2 days of prep.
Technically I only have 6 more to lose by next Friday. BUT since I weighed in at my doctors last wed I have only lost 10 lbs. I want to show her and my surgeon that I am serious about this, and I want the surgery to go as scheduled. I also want to have NO doubt in my mind that this surgery will go ahead and I will be safe during it. If she feels losing a bit of weight will make that more possible then great.
So my goal is to lose 10 more lbs by next Friday. I believe I can do it.

My diet right now consists of Baby spinach, sugar snap peas, romaine lettuce, bean sprouts, Bok Choi, celery, cucumber, 2 small portions of fish or chicken, and my own homemade vinaigrette (which consists of 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, an acid, and a 1/2 a tablespoon of low fat Parmesan cheese.
Doctor went from almost pure protein to this easier on my stomach than digesting all that protein after the procedure. And most of the veggies in that list are water content.

And my legs are so close to being normal. My legs, ankles and feel have been so swollen in the last 4 months, that now that I have BOTH of my ankles back they almost look too thin. It is just so weird to see them back to normal. There is only the slightest bit of red and soreness on my left shin, but other than that and being a little itchy still they are back to normal.

My stomach does feel like it has been beat up from the inside out (which it has) especially after I eat. My throat is still a little sore, I think he did scratch it a bit. And just a general feeling of tiredness. I cannot even begin to say how hungry I was by the time I was allowed to eat on Friday. It was the BEST burger I have ever had.

Taking today off. Going to start working out again tonight just for that extra push, even if it just a walk around the river, even though it is February here, we have NOT had much of a winter at all. And normally we would have tones of snow and it would be freezing. Instead it was +4 yesterday.

Going to record the weigh in as it was stated at the doctors office, my home scale is a bit off. Is there any way of adjusting a digital scale? I asked my doctor if I should go by what my home scale says or hers, and she said hers. It is the old school one, and she says it is pretty accurate.
