I am a 55 yrs young woman with an empty nest, loving husband and crazy work schedule.
I've been eating healthy all my life. That still did not stop me from gaining weight in my forties and now I have trouble losing what I gained.
I love cooking, food, farmers markets and good restaurants. Food is one of the joys of life. Losing weight does not have to be about starving yourself or eating blah diet food. It is about making smarter choices in life, nutrition being only part of the equation.
I love walking, hiking, swimming, days on the beach, in the mountains, anything that brings me closer to nature.
I do not believe in calories in, calories out, but I know from past experience that daily logging and support from weight loss community can make a difference. This is a life long journey and I am looking forward to sharing it with you all.
