I started to struggle with weight after having my first son. I put on 50 pounds, took off 30, put some of the 30 back on due to stress, got pregnant 21 months later, on full bed rest at 19 weeks, packed on 50 pounds, tried Atkins, lost 66 pounds, put 86 back on, life happened... Here I am, now, 130 pounds more than I was before children!

My goal is to be 115 pounds less and healthy again!

That was my justification before and the saga continues... My boys are now 19 and 22!

How do you add a salad from a Restaurant?
Oh yeah, I forgot one more thing. I would also like to add a muffin recipe but it's not my own. So, I don't want to publish it but use it for my diary. I guess it would be a similar question as my prior post. How do I add this too?

How do you add a salad from a Restaurant?
I had a custom chopped salad for lunch today at a restaurant called Choice Greens. Their website provides a nutrition calculator and I would like to add this item to my food diary. Does anyone know how this could be done?

PS The salad was delicious by the way. I added avocado, cucumbers, bacon, red onions, and tomatoes with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The total caloric intake was 571.5 Very Happy , 478.75 from fat, and only 19.1 carbs. But... fat was 52.65g....Embarassed

Hair Loss
Hi MissPam123! I attempted the Atkins lifestyle years ago and had a very successful weight loss(66 lbs) after 6 months! I also experienced the hair loss and it was a result of the rapid weight loss. It does grow back! (BTW, I ended up regaining the 66 lbs plus another 20 after discontinuing the low carb lifestyle.Embarassed Here I am years, and many pounds, later trying to get back to where I was after the weight loss. Surprised )
