Hello friends! 👋
I've been staying mostly true to 100% carnivore and have settled on mostly steak, bacon, eggs and butter. Ribeyes and t-bones are my favorite right now. I did eat a few strawberries at a party, my goodness, incredibly sweet! And our blackberry bushes are producing and I'm being bear-like and plucking the huge blackberries off and eating them. It's only a few a day. So good, specially if frozen.
Let's talk about Diabetes Type 2. I'm 100% controlled with no meds. My fasting blood sugar is in the 90s and my readings throughout the day are in the 80s. All of my inflammation from diabetes, the bloating and puffiness, the skin tingling in my feet and hands, all gone. I'll have blood work in July to compare to my tests in March. I can't wait.
Carnivore, what has it done? Cured my diabetes. No more arthritis pain, my skin tags are gone (ew), my skin is clear and so healthy, and obviously weight loss. I feel great and have more energy than ever before. Absolutely no cravings, no temptations. That's a first!
Example is I recently went to a party at a ranch. BBQ, swimming, games and all outdoors. For the first time in many years, I was active, walking, swimming, the heat want killing me, and I was able to have fun. I want out of breath while enjoying the activities. It was freeing, liberating, incredible, exciting! My husband grinned the entire time, he was so happy watching me be myself.
Carnivore works for me. I'm 6 months in and I can say at this moment in time, I'm living. I'm happy. And I love eating this way.
Stay strong, trust the process, and live your best life. Wishing my friends and followers all the best and love,
Daisy

Hello mu lovelies!🌼🥰🌼
Just a quick update today. New coping tool I'm using when I get frustrated is visualization. I'm steadily lising weight, and my diabetic issues are basically resolved. But, sometimes I woke up in the morning and groan. I'm still fat! So I've been visualizing myself healthy and fit. Going into regular stores and buying regular clothes. Going camping and being able to crawl into the tent. Just everyday things. Not worrying if that chair can support me! It's helping get me through some rough spots. Also helps when cravings hit. I take a moment to visualize the goal, how good I'll feel and look. Just morning rambling.
I hope your day is WONDERFUL. Stay strong, you're worth it!
🌼🥰
