I have always been a big girl. Growing up I was a champion swimmer who had more muscles than most men. After family moved back to the states I started gaining the weight after the swimming stopped. For about 30 years I suffered Crohns disease until I found a miracle worker who cured me from all symptoms. Even though I weighed 350 at the time, he stated I was very mal nourished because my body would not keep the food inside long enough. He performed a surgery that made a little pouch above my stomach to slow the food down. It worked. I could eat without the stabbing pains and I lost 160 pounds in less than a year.My lowest weight was 190 which is fine with me. As menopause set in. I had gained easily without even trying. My hormones have all been tested. So now I am on a 1000 cal a day diet to see what happens. I did lose 10 pounds in first 3 days but it has gone up and down since then. I am advised not to work out due to the low cals. I have nueropathy,blood clots and suffer horrible leg cramps if I even attempt to stretch.It runs in my family.I did Jenny Craig before and lost 10 pounds a week eating 2500 cal a day but it got too expensive and now their food taste bad like Nutri system food.Weight watchers also worked but I cannot eat so much food as I have a tiny tummy. Doctor wants me to consume 120 grams of protein a day which is very hard so I buy the protein cookies,shakes and the infused waters. I can drink easier than eat. When I was working at my hard job the weight stayed off because I was always on my feet and I never ate until dinner time. A month before I left my job I had gained 20 pounds overnight. People were noticing it and telling me I looked good. I knew there was a problem.Thyroid tested fine this time with this Doctor but has switched back and forth before. He has me on Wellbutrin and Contrave for stress and my anxiety.Any good tips would be great.
