I'm working on my transformation from being unable to stand over five minutes or unable to walk ten feet over to a new person. I have been overweight since I was eight years old. I'm now fifty seven and just plain tired of it. My absolute favorite show on TV is Extreme Weight Loss, I know I could not even try to do what these folks do, but it does help to get my mind focused on healthy! Upon getting my iPad in June 2015, I discovered the FatSecret App and I thought why not any help is good. I'm so glad I did I love the ability to track my weight, food intake, & exercise along with the great community here and more! What a Lifesaver! So I'm now only looking forward to being thin and able to go to the stores that don't have scooters to shop with.🚴 🚶🏻 🎽

LOOKING FOR A BUDDY WITH MOBILITY ISSUES
Hello, I'm a 57 year old lifetime Lesbian with a Wife I'm very committed to and have some mobility issues. I can't stand up longer than 15-20 minutes at a time without having a great deal of pain. I also can't walk (cane assisted) more than a few yards without the same leg & back pain. I have done call center work (sitting all day at times 4-5 hrs at a time for 12 hr days) for 20 years. I moved to the Work At Home program 3 years ago. I know my eating habits, job, lack of exercise, and attitude have gotten me where I now am. I got laid off in mid- May and have yet to secure another WAH job. Causing my entire self esteem to plummet. I started trying to eat better snacks at my desk in April and less Cokes, so I know before I lost the job, I was trying partly to diet. I took my January bonus money and bought a recumbent bike that satSpecifications
Shipping Weight (in pounds): 5.92 in my living room collecting dust until late June. I made the decision to really diet and started riding 5 min a day. It killed me and made me very sore but I did manage to stay with it. I now ride it twice a day and stay on for 20 min at a time keeping a steady pace to complete at least 3 miles or more each ride. This morning I felt really good and rode 5 miles in just under 22 mins. However I'm as you can see by my weight chart not really losing pounds. I am however firming up in my hips, thighs, & legs. My pants are starting to bag on me some and some of the chairs in the house are not as a tight a fit as it had been. I'm also struggling with drinking more water and staying away from the sweets. If you want to Buddy with me I'm game so we can encourage each other. If not, I understand, just let me know. 🚴
