The older I get the more "minor" bumps and bruises hurt. I put minor in quotation marks because when one ache finally goes away after what seems like a couple of weeks of intense and acute aching, something else pops up. So far this year I've had issues with both ankles and feet, then it migrated to my knee, and the heel of my foot, now it's the other knee and hip. Lort. I don't like taking pain relievers but it's left me with no choice on a few occasions. Today isn't too bad, nothing feels debilitating, but I can definitely feel my age in my bones and joints. My goal for the end of the month is to not bump or bang into anything and finally get rid of some of this aching, but honestly I'm not sure what I ran my knee into that's making it hurt, but that's typically Taurus of me, trying to walk through every dang thing. Anyway, I took some photos last week, but I'm a little self-conscious about posting them. After I posted my 2023 update and had a troll tell me I was "still overweight", looked, "dirty and unkempt", "needed to wash my hair", among a few other nasty things (to my credit I told her she looks like a crack-ho), it got me feeling like I don't like being judged by hateful A-holes. I'm not pretty and don't try to be, I've got a large frame, and no amount of weight-loss will change that fact, it's a shame there are still trolls in this community that jump on any chance to neg others especially with dishonest criticism, it makes the entire experience suck and it's part of the reason I quit posting here. BUT, the tools here are very useful and the good in the community far outweigh the negatives. So I'm still getting comfortable using this site again, we'll see how it goes. Hope everyone has a great week!

Hello FatSecret! For those that know me, they know I've had ups and downs with my weight over the years. I do well when I follow a ketogenic/carnivore diet. Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Jason Fung, Dr. Annette Bozworth, and Dr. Anthony Chaffee are among some of the best people you can follow on YouTube for a solid understanding of a carbohydrate restricted lifestyle. You're in the battle every day, win or lose, the fight continues tomorrow. Ignore anyone that heckles your diet or brings negativity into your life, life is already too hard to make things worse, look for the positive and if anyone brings drama, hatred, or shade your way, do your best to ignore them. If you find anything I post irritating, triggering, annoying, or negative in any other way, ignore me, too! Trust me, I know, I'm not for everyone and that's ok, I will ignore you in return. Have a great day, and never stop reaching for your goals!

I have completely forgotten how to navigate this site (funny how we call everything "apps" these days, that just makes me hungry,) used to be, "I'm going on that site" to whatever, now it's "I gotta pull up that app---". I lurk around every now and then on here, but really haven't got much to say, but that could change. I stopped coming on here when the algorithm for my account changed and things I posted weren't being featured. What's the point of stirring the pot if I can't get a 200-reply deep comment section? Meh, but when I get consistent I'm hard to stop so if I've got any hAtErS left on this app (ha-ha) maybe I won't make this place a habit again. “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!" I'll have to post some pics. I never think about taking pics until after I've logged on here, and usually forget by the time I get the camera out and am doing photography on other things. Well, that's going to be part of trying to consistently login and post stuff in my journal, posting pics and whatnot to try to get the algorithm to like and feature my stuff again. Good luck on your weight-loss journeys, FatSecre-zins, thinner is always better! Here's a pic of my cat Paul Payne the Third, he decided that day was a good day to give a lecture. Just imagine him telling you that you're good, enough, you're smart enough, and doggone it, people like you. Until next time.
