You're going to get it down pat before long. You're complicated. The human body's metabolism is fluid and dynamic. Do not be discouraged. Do not be swayed from your work. There's no other way to look at this. Everyday when you get up, you focus and think about the plan of action for the day. How are you going to spend your calories to get the most bang for your buck! Boring protein always has to be first. Why can't you have a Ice cream and cheesecake day? Because you just know you can't. Sometimes, reality sucks. Sometimes, it's wonderful. Having you as a friend in this journey is wonderful.

Thanks, Paula! (I just read this -- 08/21, 2:46 a.m.). This gives me such encouragement that I copied it to post with my bio. "How do I get the most bang for my (calorie) buck?!" -- a good mantra!
