Yep, so that happened . . . I'm going through a range of emotions -- an accelerated diet version of the 5 stages of grief . . . on the one hand, THRILLED that the damage was under 2 lbs. given I was off-food plan for about 5 days running with little to no exercise. On the other hand, ANGRY that I am 'THRILLED' by a 1.6-lbs. gain!! Channeling that ANGER into REFLECTION and MOTIVATION to get back on track and moving the scale (and my body) in the right direction again . . . onward, FSers!! Wishing you all a great week and a successful 're-start' if this is also the case with you . . .
147.6 lb Lost so far: 49.4 lb.    Still to go: 20.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

See no reason why you should be angry about being pleased of only a 1.6 gain. You obviously didn't splurge as bad as you think you did or you obviously would have gained a lot more! Stop beating yourself up my friend. Heck, 5 days of not really watching yourself and that's all you gained...drop to your knees and simply say "Thanks, Father" and keep on moving! Missed you while you were gone and awfully glad you're back :D

Your journal Leigh-Ellen is exactly how I feel today after my weight in, it's the yoyo effect that can drag us all down. I'm scraping myself off the sidewalk and starting again along side you.

Hey LE - looking at your consistent losses this is just a seasonal blip. If you continued to lose as you have been over the last 6 months without any seasonal blips you could be accused of being a perfect weightloss robot. Glad to see that you are human too :) Be happy with 1.6 pound in 5 days and grab back those healthy eating reins so that you see that same 1.6 pounds gone in a week or two xx

Look how far you've come already, that little gain during this tough time of year will be gone in no time. I haven't even weighed myself yet because I'm scared. :) I am in re-start mode too and you're motivating me to do better too.
