Down a little over 9 lbs. since joining FS 4 weeks ago -- faced down my first temptation to overindulge over the 'weak'end . . . compensated with a ONE serving size (3 Tbsps.) snack of sweet/nutty trail mix (not 100% healthy, but much better than what would have been my usual alternative). The potential 'backslide' almost convinced me to incorporate one cheat day each week (as I've done in the past), but insight and feedback from an FS Buddy convinced me otherwise (thanks, Pterath)! Even just taking time to read other members' successes, journeys, responses to temporary pitfalls, is both a HUGE help (not to mention an uplifting distraction)!
Jogging/walking is progressing -- I'm jogging the first .5 mile and then half-half for the next 4 laps (usually followed by 2 more walking-only laps). Although I'm totally realistic about the time it will take to drop weight, I'm also still amazed and how quickly the body can adjust and become accustomed to 'new norms'. Just a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't even jog 1/2 of a lap (1/8 mile). Now I'm jogging the first lap without having to 'mouth breathe'. I joined a strength/stretch challenge last week to make me more accountable to incorporate other forms of exercise beyond cardio.

179.8 lb Lost so far: 17.2 lb.    Still to go: 52.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
