Miraculum's Journal, 08 January 2019

I needed to find a way to increase my fiber intake and decided on a combination of high-fiber vegetables (avocado is perfect), nuts, and a 20-oz. "fiber drink" (half a serving of Crystal Light Pure, with the rest filtered water) plus 1 scoop chia seeds and 1T CVS-brand "Great Shape 100% Natural Soluble Fiber supplement". The CVS product is flavorless and much cheaper than Citrucel.

I use a teaspoon of stevia in my morning coffee and another in my evening tea. Crystal Light Pure uses Truvia and stevia as natural sweeteners. Stevia did take some getting used to, but the taste now is okay. (I got used to it.) CL Pure has no artificial colors, so it's a bit "paler" than regular Crystal Light, and only 1g carbohydrate per serving.

I choose not to log the Crystal Light Pure and stevia, since the calorie and carb counts are negligible. These products really help me resist sugary desserts and snacks.

It is nice to find what to work and to experiment. My thing right now is as few sweeteners as possible. I do have a few berries. But that is where I am at. I will maybe try some sweeteners again at some point
