Woo-Hoooooooo! Down 12.5 pounds since the day after Christmas! I'll have more to say a bit later but, right now, I'm just going to bask in this success...
232.0 lb Lost so far: 53.0 lb.    Still to go: 64.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Liv001, I would submit that *nothing* is worth giving up chocolate for! However, this is the price I *must* pay to regain my health. My desire for chocolate, and eating as much as I can get my hands on, goes back as far as I can remember. There are studies on how people, from infancy, develop a taste for certain flavors and foods with certain nutrients. (Chocolate has magnesium, which may indicate a deficiency. Sugar stimulates dopamine production, just like opiates and sex.) Ah, the stuff that hangovers are made of!
