The scale, that lying POS, says I've gained 1.5 pounds since yesterday. So, this being the time of day when a young woman's fancy turns to doughnuts, I stopped at DD (Dastardly Dunkin) and bought two on my way back from an errand. (I didn't eat them in the car, but I do have the house to myself this morning, so it's still "secret eating.") Well, the day is still young. Move along! Nothing to see here!
213.0 lb Lost so far: 72.0 lb.    Still to go: 45.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Before you eat your donuts remember; you eat them in private but you have to wear them in public. I still have a little piece of cake a few days a week , but I try to still stay under my calorie deficit . Note to self: maybe it's why I still have belly fat πŸ˜•

Don't weigh every day if some retained water is going to drive you to eat something you think you may regret later. Put the scale away and just use it every week or two. Work them into your plan. You can even then out over the next couple of days if you choose to.

Yes I understand that - I mysteriously gained 2 pounds overnight also. But you know it's just water weight if you stayed on your plan. So you need to trust yourself and not take it out on yourself. Next time don't buy those donuts! Well, anyway, just forget it and recommit. You will be fine!

Adefwebserver, I have advanced diabetic neuropathy complicated by "Charcot foot" bilaterally. Lesson: Ignore diabetes long enough, and you'll just *wish* you could take weight-bearing exercise. But I hear you! I'll be returning to the stationery recumbent bicycle or the lap pool soon.
