Today has been difficult. I've just wanted to eat and eat. I haven't, I've managed to stop myself, but I've not been satisfied with anything I've eaten. Don't get me wrong, I am definitely not hungry, far from it, I feel completely satisfied in that respect. I just want to eat more.

It's not helping that we still have a lot of junk food from Christmas. 99% of the time it doesn't bother me at all. I can have a small calorie controlled amount (if I've got the calories spare) and then walk away. Thats what I have done tonight, but it has been a battle not to walk back in and have more.

However, I have reasoned with myself and said that if I was going to have something else to eat, I would only allow it to be a maximum of 100 calories. Anything for 100 calories would not satisfy my craving and I'm not prepared to sacrifice anymore than that, so the only answer is to have nothing else.

Luckily the cravings are subsiding now as its getting quite late here, I think I will watch the end of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and then head off to bed as its back to work tomorrow and back to normal routine.

I agree with Kingkeld.. Now that Christmas is over and done with, we have thrown all the tempting food out. Yes I know it sounds like a waste of food, but I made the tarts and mince pies and cup cakes etc on Christmas eve.. Probably to many lol. It is so nice to get back to normal again, and doesn't the living room look bigger now that the tree and decorations have gone lol. Now we are back to portion control and weighing before cooking.

Oh boy do I know how that feels. Had it the other night and was in the fridge half way through a bar of chocolate before I could get control and walk away. I counted it all, that's not really helping but it's far better than cheating myself. I congratualte you for walking away!!! I have managed to pull myself together and have had 2 days back in the saddle....huge sigh of relief!
