Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2012 is a great year for us all.

Didn't intend to go on the treadmill yesterday as I'd had a good session on it on Friday. However, as it was New Years Eve I was adament I was staying up to see the new year in.

We'd been out to a couple of pubs earlier in the night hoping to see the new year in with friends but the pubs were that busy we could barely breathe, so we gave up and came home.

About 11:15 I began to feel tired, but I really wanted to stay up, so I decided to go for a run on the treadmill. I didn't do a great deal, just a 10 minute warm up, then I ran a mile then finished off with a 5 minute cool down. All in all I burned 217 calories, not bad for a day where I was happy to not go on at all. And I managed to see the new year in!
