So after ~5 tries, I finally 'broke through' tonight and jogged 1/4 mile (I'm running on a high school track for easy record-keeping and a flat surface to start) without stopping. Then followed that lap with 5 more, 1/2 walking; 1/2 jogging. This is on top of my brisk AM walks with my (aging) dog -- fastest I can do with him is 3.5 mls per hour and that's also a distance of 1.5 miles. It seems to be taking me much longer to build up my endurance/stamina than previous weight loss attempts, but this is also the heaviest I've been and doesn't help that it's summertime in the South.
Hope everyone in the FS community had a fantastic 4th! So excited the holiday weekend concluded with a big win by the American Women at the World Cup!
