Stayed the same this week

Shocked that I stayed the same this week. I did gain about 2 pounds, but was able to be back at the same weight by weigh-in day. My husband and I are celebrating our 31st anniversary, and we had a big party on Saturday. Our close friend is a chef and he fixed some amazing food for us. Wanna hear the menu? Shrimp and Grits, BBQ sliders, Thai Chicken Skewers, Meatballs, Sausages with Onions & Pepper, Pepperjack Pimento Cheese, tons of different cheeses, marinated and grilled veggies, lots of fruits and veggies, pita chips. I bought gourmet cupcakes and brownies. There was wine, beer, and sparkling water. We had a blast with friends and family. I enjoyed a little of everything and tried to focus on not eating too much, but really savoring delicious food, and enjoying our company. I'm learning to let myself enjoy all kinds of food in moderation without feeling like I'm cheating, and planning for days when special events occur. I can do this!!
