I didn't track my day, had a lovely lunch with friends. This was dinner. Seasoned tuna salad with avocado, carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, pickle and onion over spinach with extra tomato 💕

Have you read that you are supposed to "activate" the chia seeds before consuming (get wet) so they are more fiber-effective? Seems like they get wet in your mouth and down the hatch...

actually..if you soak them in water, they acquire a mucusy coating.

Which is fine for chia pudding, but I'd rather them dry for salads and garnishing. They're not bad in a glass of cold water, you hardly notice.
